Caring Without Losing Yourself: Self-Care for Caregivers
Caregiving can be meaningful and rewarding, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. In this one-hour session, we’ll explore realistic ways to care for yourself while caring for someone else.
We’ll discuss recognizing stress and depletion, letting go of guilt, setting healthy boundaries, and finding small ways to restore your energy and well-being. We’ll also make space for the complicated emotions that can arise in caregiving, particularly when relationships are strained or caregiving changes the dynamics between people.
You’ll leave with practical tools for sustaining yourself throughout the caregiving journey.
