Lighting the Table: A Guided Remembrance Practice with Carolyn

Lighting the Table: A Guided Remembrance Practice with Carolyn

Available Saturday, October 31, at 9:00 a.m. ET · Self-directed

Who would you make a place for, if you gave yourself a few quiet minutes to remember?

It might be a person you miss, an animal you loved, a teacher who changed your life, or someone whose story lives on through you. Carolyn will guide you through a simple recorded practice of making a small table of remembrance in your own home. Bring a photograph, a written name, a meaningful object, or just the memory itself.

Set aside 10–15 minutes whenever you’re ready. You’ll have space to recall something particular about the life you’re honoring, give thanks for what they brought into yours, and consider what you want to carry forward. The steps will also be available in writing.

You can do this practice on its own or leave your table in place for our live gathering, At the Threshold, on November 1. All you need is a little time and a willingness to remember.
